This abstract painting is an attempt to express the intangible qualities of a person, a self-portrait of my interior at that time.

Part of the creative process for this artwork involved pulling a glued piece of string off the canvas, prior to painting. The aftermath of that action included exposed holes in the canvas and remnants of fibre in certain areas, which are part of the theme presented.
